Blind

This was the first poem that I ever wrote. It was written on April 5th, 2008. Believe it or not, what inspired me to first write poetry was roadkill xD

I would not mind
If I were blind
For there is nothing to see
Except head on collsions and catastrophe
If I could not catch a glimspe of neither bird nor tree
I would still feel as fine as can be
It would surely be ok
Even though, on my sight, I would have a delay
But I would sadly pay
If I could not listen to things with their naturistic themes
For the vivacious sounds still have their means
It would be a sincere loss
If my hearing was tossed
So long as I can listen
My heart will forever glisten
